A valuable-cargo program for your station

KAPP writes the procedures, trains the people who run them, aligns the records with your auditors and reviews the program as it runs. At Miami and Atlanta we can also staff it. At any other station, we help you staff it.

01 · The gap

High-value cargo arrives whether or not the station is ready for it

Currency, bullion, fine art, precious metals, technology: shipments like these travel on ordinary flights, and between the aircraft and the strong room they are the station’s responsibility. A station without a written procedure improvises, one shift at a time.

Most stations learn this from a claim. The shipper asks who had the cargo at a given minute, and there is no answer, because nobody was assigned to know. A written program answers that question before it is asked, and lets the airline offer secure handling as a service instead of carrying it as a risk.

02 · What you get

A program your station can run, audit and sell

01

Station-specific SOP manual

Written for your station, your aircraft and your handoffs, not adapted from a template. It follows the shipment from acceptance to the aircraft door and back.

02

Training

We train the people who will run the procedure, on your ramp and on your shifts, and leave the material to train the ones who come after them.

03

Audit alignment

The program is written so insurers, auditors and customs can follow it: what is recorded, by whom, and where it is kept.

04

Ongoing review

Stations change: routes, people, aircraft. We review the program on an agreed cadence and revise it as the operation moves.

05

Staffing at MIA and ATL

At Miami and Atlanta, KAPP can staff the program it wrote, 24 hours a day, under one rate agreement.

06

Staffing consultation elsewhere

At any other station, in the United States or abroad, we help you recruit, credential and schedule the team that will run it.

03 · How an engagement runs

Three stages, one program

  1. 01

    Assessment

We walk your station, read what is written today and watch how valuable cargo actually moves. We tell you where the station stands.

  2. 02

    Design

We write the SOP set and the records that go with it, then train your people on it.

  3. 03

    Hand-over and review

The program goes live with your auditors’ sign-off. We come back on the agreed cadence to keep it current, and staff it where you want us to.
